Create Categories -Magento 2.2.0
navigate to catalog -> Categories.
Enable Category – yes
Include in Menu – yes
- Name – The Name of the category
Content section image, description, and the page name (CMS block)
You can add tags and keywords for the Search engine optimization section
Add a new Product – Magento 2.0.0
navigate to catalog -> Products.
Click on the big orange Add Product button to start configuring a new Product.
Here you can add product details
- Name – The name of the product
- SKU – The Stock keeping Unit of the product (for tracking the inventory of your store)
- Price – The price value of the product
- Tax Class – The Tax Class for the product
- Images and Videos – Select an image/video representing the product
Inventory management – Magento 2.0.0
also can be done using,
catalog -> products -> edit action of the product
Stores -> configuration -> CatLog -> inventory
You can change the quantity, change the status of the product, change images, change the description, etc.
