How To Submit Your App To the App Store

This is not about the development of the application. This is about publishing the application. This is the time your application opens to the world and here we are discussing about the App Store hosting.

Sign up for the Apple Developer Program

As a first thing, you need to have an Apple ID to access the developer account. But you can’t proceed only with the Apple ID. You need to enroll in the Apple Developer Program. This will cost 99 USD per year. If you didn’t renew the subscription your apps will be removed from the Apps Store.

If you are an individual or sole proprietor/single-person business get started by signing in with your Apple ID. You’ll need to provide basic personal information, including your legal name and address.

If you’re enrolling as an organization, the process is a bit different. You need to get A D-U-N-S® Number. This D-U-N-S Number will verify your organization’s identity and legal entity status. If you request a D-U-N-S Number then it will take 5 business days to receive your number. But these days with the covid situation, this time may vary.

After getting D-U-N-S Number you can fill in the details for the enrollment of this developer program. then they will contact you within 5 business days. But in these days with the covid situation, this time may vary. In the meantime, you will receive some emails regarding the “review the Program License Agreement to continue your organization’s enrollment”.

After confirming all these you will receive the order with the invoice and then you can pay and after that you will have access to the Apple developer program.

After enrolling in the program you will get access to the,

  • Access to submit apps to the App Stores on all Apple platforms
  • Ability to create Safari extensions and list them in the extensions gallery
  • Access to Beta versions of Apple software
  • Testing tools like TestFlight
  • View App analytics
